PB Fintech shares fall despite strong Q2 results; analysts unmoved
PB Fintech's stock declined 7% despite posting robust second-quarter earnings, with revenue climbing 35% year-on-year and profit surging 43%. Market analysts suggest the decline reflects concerns about elevated advertising expenditure offsetting growth gains.

Insurance and financial services platform PB Fintech saw its share price slip 7% following the release of its second-quarter FY27 results, even as the company delivered strong operational performance. Revenue for the quarter reached ₹2,178 crore, representing a 35% increase from the same period last year, while profit after tax jumped 43% year-on-year to ₹192 crore.
The share decline appears to stem from investor concerns regarding the company's marketing and advertising spend, which analysts say has intensified during the quarter. The elevated customer acquisition costs appear to have tempered market enthusiasm despite the underlying revenue and profitability growth.
Equity analysts tracking the stock suggested that pessimism around ad expenditure may have already been priced into the market, with the worst of investor concerns potentially reflected in the current valuation. Market participants indicated that the sustainability of growth amid competitive pressures in the fintech sector remains a key focus area for investors monitoring the company's performance.
