NAGA CITY, Camarines Sur — Naga City General Hospital received P25.1 million worth of medical equipment from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday, bolstering its diagnostic capabilities and patient care services.

The donation includes a digital stationary X-ray machine, an ultrasound machine, and a 2D echocardiogram machine. The equipment is expected to enable faster diagnosis and improve accessibility of critical medical services for patients seeking treatment at the facility.

The transfer of the equipment marks part of the PCSO's ongoing commitment to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in provincial hospitals. Naga City General Hospital serves as a primary health facility for residents of Naga City and surrounding municipalities in Camarines Sur.

The enhanced diagnostic capabilities are anticipated to reduce waiting times for imaging procedures and allow the hospital to handle a greater volume of patients requiring cardiovascular and general imaging assessments.
