A pedestrian was fatally struck during a four-vehicle collision at the junction of Magsaysay Avenue and Hilltop Street in Baguio City on Friday afternoon, authorities said. The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on August 28, according to the Baguio City Police Office.
The victim, identified as a 64-year-old man, was hit by an Isuzu vehicle during the crash. All four vehicles involved in the accident sustained damage from the impact.
Baguio City Police Office chief Col. Ruel Tagel confirmed the fatality and details of the multi-vehicle collision. Investigators are continuing to determine the exact circumstances that led to the crash at the major intersection.
