Pedicab driver arrested over Forbes Park home robbery

MANILA—A senior citizen fell victim to a residential robbery in upscale Forbes Park, Makati, on September 24, losing significant valuables to an alleged perpetrator who worked as a pedicab driver.
The 76-year-old victim reported that approximately P50,000 in cash and P40,000 worth of jewelry were taken from her home during the incident. Investigators at the Makati Police Department subsequently identified a 25-year-old pedicab operator as the primary suspect in the case.
The theft was reported to authorities on the same day it occurred, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the break-in. Security protocols and entry points at the residence are currently being examined as part of the ongoing inquiry.
