Penang Education Department backs SPM student targeted by sexual cyberbullying

GEORGE TOWN — The Penang State Education Department (JPNPP) has assured that comprehensive measures are in place to protect and support an SPM candidate who has been subjected to sexual cyberbullying. The department confirmed it is working closely with relevant authorities to ensure the student's welfare and safety during this critical examination period.

The targeted candidate has been offered counseling services and academic support to help mitigate the impact of the online harassment on their studies. School administrators have been instructed to monitor the situation closely and maintain regular contact with the affected student and their family.
