Paul and Cynthia Black purchased 78.3 acres in Pennsylvania in 2022 with land preservation as their primary objective. The property has now been permanently protected through a conservation easement, a legal agreement that restricts future commercial and residential development while allowing continued private ownership.

The conservation effort has blocked development plans that would have resulted in 88 single-family homes and 21 condominium units on the land. By preserving the acreage, the couple has helped maintain critical farmland, woodland areas, and natural water resources in the region.

The Blacks' initiative forms part of a broader conservation strategy spanning three contiguous projects. Together, these efforts have expanded an existing 236-acre conservation corridor, creating a larger protected landscape.
