Perak officials call for review of child mountain expedition age limits

The Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) has raised concerns about the safety of young climbers on demanding mountain tracks, prompting calls for a comprehensive policy review. According to JBPM director Sayani Saidon, children face significantly higher risks of physical injury compared to adult climbers when tackling challenging routes.
