Persistent Systems has successfully accumulated approximately 94.04% equity stake in Nagarro, a global software and digital services provider, following completion of its takeover offer process. This majority holding comprises the approximately 22.10% stake previously acquired by Persistent through a share purchase agreement with Lantano Beteiligungen GmbH, combined with shares tendered in response to the formal acquisition offer.

The transaction represents a strategic move by Persistent Systems to expand its digital transformation and enterprise software capabilities. Nagarro, which operates across multiple geographies providing digital engineering and transformation services, complements Persistent's existing service portfolio and client base.

With the requisite shareholding threshold now secured, Persistent Systems holds substantial control over Nagarro's strategic direction and operations. The company has effectively consolidated its position following months of regulatory approvals and shareholder processes required for the cross-border acquisition.

The acquisition underscores Persistent Systems' growth ambitions in the competitive software and IT services sector, where consolidation continues to reshape the competitive landscape. The enlarged entity is expected to leverage synergies between both organizations' capabilities and client relationships across emerging digital service verticals.
