The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has rolled out NPS Central, an integrated online portal designed to simplify pension account management for National Pension System subscribers across India. The new platform consolidates multiple services into a unified digital interface, addressing the need for easier access to pension-related information and transaction capabilities.
Subscribers can log into NPS Central using their registered mobile number, eliminating the need to remember complex usernames or passwords. The portal provides real-time visibility into contribution history, allowing account holders to track deposits made toward their retirement savings at a glance.
Among its key features, NPS Central enables users to download account statements, compare different pension scheme options available under the NPS framework, and manage various account-related services. The consolidated dashboard approach is intended to reduce the complexity previously associated with navigating multiple platforms for pension administration.
The launch represents PFRDA's effort to modernize the NPS infrastructure and improve the user experience for India's growing base of pension subscribers. The platform aims to make pension management more accessible to both existing account holders and potential new participants considering entry into the NPS scheme.
