MANILA — Multiple regions of the Philippines are forecast to experience occasional rain showers on Thursday as two weather systems move into the area, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration reported.
According to Pagasa's afternoon weather advisory, the combination of northeasterly winds and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring cloud cover and precipitation to various parts of the archipelago throughout the day.
The weather bureau advised residents in affected areas to monitor updates as conditions may vary by locality. Pagasa said the weather systems are typical for the season and residents should prepare for possible travel disruptions in areas experiencing heavier rainfall.
The agency continued its regular monitoring of weather patterns affecting the country and said additional advisories would be issued as necessary.
