MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has warned of unsettled weather conditions affecting the country Wednesday as two wind systems converge over the region. Northeasterly winds combined with easterly trade winds originating from the Pacific Ocean are forecast to bring cloud cover and scattered rain to most areas, Pagasa said in its afternoon weather advisory. The convergence of these wind patterns is expected to persist throughout the day, potentially affecting transportation, outdoor activities, and agricultural operations across multiple provinces. Residents in affected areas are advised to prepare for wet conditions and monitor official weather updates for any significant changes to the forecast. Pagasa continues to monitor atmospheric developments and is expected to issue additional advisories if conditions warrant further warnings.
