CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Law enforcement officers conducting back-to-back drug enforcement operations in Northern Mindanao and Camiguin province have seized suspected crystal methamphetamine valued at more than P3.2 million and taken four individuals into custody.
The operations, announced in an advisory on Saturday, October 3, resulted in the confiscation of the controlled substance across multiple locations in the region. Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr., director of the Philippine National Police Regional Office-10, commended the officers involved in executing the raids, highlighting their commitment to combating illegal drug trafficking in the area.
The simultaneous operations underscore the regional police command's intensified efforts to disrupt drug supply networks operating across Northern Mindanao and the neighboring island province. The four arrested individuals are currently undergoing processing as authorities continue their investigation into the scope and organization of the suspected drug operation.
The seizures and arrests form part of the PNP's broader anti-narcotics campaign targeting drug trafficking and manufacturing activities throughout the Bangsamoro region and surrounding areas.
