Phu Tho province is ramping up preparations for Vietnam Culture Day with a comprehensive programme of cultural events designed to celebrate the nation's heritage while promoting local development initiatives. The centrepiece of the festivities will be the 'Phu Tho Culture – Connecting for Development' cultural camp, a major initiative bringing together diverse elements of the province's cultural identity and economic potential.
The cultural camp will operate 17 separate activity camps alongside four dedicated exhibition spaces. These venues will display a wide range of traditional handicrafts, products participating in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme, and other regional specialties that reflect Phu Tho's distinctive cultural and economic character.
The programming reflects a broader regional trend of marking Vietnam Culture Day with multifaceted celebrations. Similar events have been held in other provinces including Vinh Long, while international Vietnamese communities have also participated in commemorating the occasion.
The Phu Tho initiative combines cultural preservation with economic promotion, creating opportunities for local artisans and producers to showcase their work to wider audiences. By integrating traditional craftsmanship with contemporary development goals, the province aims to strengthen both cultural continuity and community prosperity during the celebrations.
