MANILA — Passenger bookings at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) remain well below capacity on key routes through November 3, according to terminal officials on Sunday. The facility's management disclosed that no intercity bus trips had achieved full occupancy on select routes serving destinations across the country during the period encompassing the All Saints' Day holidays. As of Sunday afternoon, PITX data showed that November 1 service bookings were tracking at around 32.56 percent on certain routes, indicating subdued travel demand. The low reservation figures suggest that many Filipinos either adjusted their holiday travel plans or opted for alternative transportation arrangements ahead of the extended weekend. Terminal operators and bus companies typically anticipate heightened passenger volumes during All Saints' Day, when Filipinos traditionally visit family graves and travel to provincial destinations.
