PKR's Secretary-General Fuziah Salleh has dismissed allegations that the party plotted to deregister Perikatan Nasional, stating that no such proposal was tabled at the party's recent national congress. Fuziah said presentations allegedly detailing plans to suspend and cancel PN's registration were never presented to party delegates, contradicting claims attributed to PN leader Mukhriz Mahathir. The PKR official called for Mukhriz to retract his statements and issue a public apology for making unfounded accusations against the party. Fuziah emphasised that no documentation or formal proposal regarding PN's deregistration exists within PKR's records from the congress proceedings. The exchange marks escalating tensions between the two parties, with PKR demanding clarity on the source of Mukhriz's claims and insisting on accountability for what it characterises as false allegations.
