PKR Youth calls for direct cash aid in 2027 budget allocation

PKR Youth has renewed calls for the government to prioritise direct cash assistance in the 2027 budget, signalling growing frustration among younger Malaysians over non-monetary incentive schemes. According to PKR Youth executive Noor Amelia Zainabila Zaiffri, vouchers and other indirect assistance programmes do not resonate with young people who prefer straightforward financial support they can deploy according to their immediate needs.
