PKR Youth calls for probe into Hadi's US offer allegations

PKR Youth chief Kamil Munim said it was crucial for relevant authorities to determine the veracity of Hadi's allegations, emphasizing the seriousness of claims involving foreign interference in Malaysia's internal affairs.

The call comes after Hadi publicly stated that the US had allegedly made an offer to assist in removing the current government. However, the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur swiftly rejected the claim, stating that no such offer had been made.

Kamil said that if Hadi's allegations were substantiated, it would represent a significant matter requiring immediate investigation. Conversely, if the claims were unfounded, authorities should also determine the motivations behind making such statements, he added.

The dispute highlights ongoing political tensions in Malaysia, with opposition figures occasionally raising allegations of foreign involvement in domestic political affairs. Such claims typically attract scrutiny from security and diplomatic authorities.

Both Hadi and PKR have been key players in Malaysia's shifting political landscape, with their positions on government formation and coalition-building frequently making headlines.
