PKR Youth Hits Back at Umno's Coalition Exit Threats

PKR Youth Vice-Chief Nabil Halimi has challenged Umno over its repeated threats to exit the Pakatan Harapan-led administration, suggesting the party lacks the conviction to abandon its government seats.

"Umno is like a partner who keeps threatening to leave but hasn't even packed their bags or arranged transport," Halimi said in a pointed criticism of the Barisan Nasional party's public posturing.

The remarks underscore growing friction within the federal coalition, where Umno has periodically signalled discontent over policy decisions and power-sharing arrangements. PKR, as part of the ruling alliance, has increasingly pushed back against what it characterises as bluffing and political theatre.

Umno's leadership has in recent months raised concerns about various government initiatives and coalition dynamics, with some party members suggesting withdrawal as a possibility.
