PKR Youth urges consistency on Tabung Haji RCI inquiry
PKR Youth has called on Umno Youth leadership to maintain a consistent position on the proposed Royal Commission of Inquiry into Tabung Haji, accusing it of shifting its stance on the matter.

KUALA LUMPUR — PKR Youth information chief Danish Hairudin has criticised Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Akmal Salleh for what he characterised as changing positions regarding the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into the pilgrimage fund's management.
Danish alleged that Umno Youth has been inconsistent in its approach to the Tabung Haji inquiry, a matter that has drawn significant public attention following revelations of financial irregularities at the institution.
The PKR Youth leader stressed the importance of maintaining a unified and transparent stance on investigations into Tabung Haji's operations, suggesting that shifting positions could undermine public confidence in efforts to address governance issues at the fund.
The call comes amid ongoing scrutiny of Tabung Haji's management and renewed political focus on establishing an RCI to investigate concerns raised by stakeholders and fund contributors.
No immediate response from Umno Youth was available at the time of writing.
