KUALA LUMPUR — Plus Malaysia has completed the activation of its JustGo toll payment system across the North-South Expressway, enabling drivers to transit toll plazas using automatic number plate recognition technology.
The deployment allows motorists to pass through toll gates without requiring physical toll tags or stopping at manual payment booths. Vehicle registration plates are automatically captured and linked to customer accounts for seamless toll deduction, streamlining the payment process for frequent users of the expressway.
The JustGo system rollout covers the full stretch of the North-South Expressway, though Penang Bridge remains excluded from the automated payment scheme. The move represents Plus Malaysia's continued modernisation of its toll collection infrastructure to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion at toll plazas.
Motorless payment systems such as ANPR have gained traction across regional toll operators as they reduce transaction times and operational costs while enhancing user convenience. The JustGo activation reflects growing adoption of cashless toll technologies across Malaysia's highway network.
