KUALA LUMPUR — PLUS Malaysia Berhad has announced a temporary closure of the road shoulder immediately after the exit lane at Bangi Toll Plaza to facilitate widening and enhancement works on the North-South Expressway.

The toll plaza operator said the shoulder closure is necessary to accommodate ongoing construction activities designed to improve traffic flow and expand capacity at the busy interchange. Motorists using the exit lane during the closure period have been advised to exercise caution and allow extra time for their journey.

The works are scheduled to continue through June 2027, with PLUS coordinating with relevant authorities to minimise disruption to commuters. The company has urged drivers to comply with traffic management measures and signage in place during the construction period.

Bangi Toll Plaza, located on the North-South Expressway, handles significant traffic volumes connecting Kuala Lumpur with southern regions. The expansion project is part of PLUS's broader infrastructure improvement initiative to enhance safety and efficiency across its expressway network.
