The Vadodara Municipal Corporation's digital-first ticketing system via BookMyShow processed registrations at unprecedented speed for the Prime Minister's scheduled event in the Gujarat city. All available seats were claimed in less than an hour, reflecting substantial public interest in the programme.

The registration surge resulted in a substantial waiting list of more than 42,000 individuals seeking access to the event. The VMC had implemented the online booking platform to streamline the registration process and manage crowd capacity for the high-profile visit.

The rapid ticket depletion underscores the significant draw that Modi continues to maintain among voters in his home state of Gujarat. Vadodara, a major industrial and cultural centre, has historically witnessed strong attendance at the Prime Minister's public events.

Organisers have not yet clarified whether additional sessions or venues may be arranged to accommodate those on the waiting list, nor have they issued guidance on the status of those who could not secure tickets through the initial online window.
