PM Modi to visit Canada, then travel to US for G20 summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a two-nation tour in mid-December 2026, beginning with a visit to Canada on December 11 and 12. The Canadian leg of the tour will be followed by his participation in the G20 summit in the United States.

Modi is scheduled to arrive in the US on December 13 for the G20 summit, which will run through December 15. The timing of the visits reflects India's continued engagement with major global forums and bilateral relations with key partners in North America.

The tour represents an important diplomatic engagement for India during a critical period of international economic and political discussions. The G20 summit will provide a platform for Modi to engage with other world leaders on pressing global issues and advance India's strategic interests on the international stage.
