Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has emphasized the critical need for Hung Yen province to pursue breakthrough initiatives in strategic infrastructure and regional connectivity to strengthen its position as an emerging economic powerhouse. The PM's remarks underscore the importance of leveraging the province's existing growth momentum to unlock new development opportunities.
According to the Prime Minister, Hung Yen must focus on integrated connectivity solutions that link industrial parks, economic zones, urban centers and production hubs through modern expressways, seaport facilities and transport infrastructure. Such interconnected systems are essential for facilitating the movement of goods, services and investments across the region.
Hung Yen's strong economic performance has been evident in recent years, with the province achieving the seventh-highest GRDP growth rate nationwide. This ranking reflects robust industrial development and improving business conditions in the province, positioning it as an increasingly attractive destination for domestic and foreign investment.
The provincial government's efforts to modernize critical infrastructure, including the ongoing Bac Hung Hai irrigation system upgrade, demonstrate a commitment to creating the foundational conditions necessary for sustained economic expansion. Such projects enhance both agricultural productivity and the overall investment climate, supporting the province's evolution toward higher-value economic activities.
