Only 7 per cent of those who completed training under the scheme managed to secure placement, a figure that underscores persistent challenges in bridging the gap between skill acquisition and actual employment opportunities.
The employment outcomes are further complicated by high attrition rates within the programme itself. Data shows that over 19 per cent of candidates dropped out during their training, raising questions about course relevance, quality of instruction, and the alignment of vocational training with actual industry demands.
