PN coalition will not endorse CSA, says Takiyuddin
The Secretary-General of Perikatan Nasional has clarified that the coalition will not formally seal a Comprehensive Strategic Alliance, characterising the decision by six Bersatu MPs to sign the agreement as a personal choice.

Perikatan Nasional will not be endorsing the Comprehensive Strategic Alliance (CSA), according to the coalition's Secretary-General Takiyuddin Hassan, who distinguished between the coalition's official stance and individual actions by its members.
Takiyuddin said that six Members of Parliament from Bersatu, a key component of PN, chose to execute the agreement on their own initiative, representing a personal decision rather than a formal coalition position. This clarification comes amid questions about PN's relationship with the CSA framework.
The statement underscores the distinction between individual parliamentary members' decisions and the official policy positions adopted by political coalitions. While PN has opted not to formally commit to the CSA at an institutional level, the decision by the six Bersatu MPs to sign reflects their personal endorsement of the agreement's objectives.
The CSA has been a subject of discussion among Malaysia's political formations, with varying levels of support and engagement across different parties and their representatives.
