MANILA — The Philippine National Police unveiled its proposed 2027 budget on Tuesday, with infrastructure projects representing a significant portion of the agency's spending priorities. The P242.53-billion budget request includes an allocation of approximately P1.5 billion dedicated to facility improvements and repairs across the organization.
The PNP said the proposed budget represents an increase of about P16 billion compared to the previous year's appropriation. Officials stated the agency is continuing systematic assessments of police stations and other operational facilities to identify infrastructure needs and prioritize renovation and modernization work.
The budget proposal reflects the PNP's commitment to enhancing police facilities nationwide, which the agency views as essential to improving operational capacity and service delivery.
