The Philippine National Police Civil Security Group disclosed that the senator has complied with less than a quarter of the firearms surrender requirement after his gun licenses and registrations were revoked. Of the 117 firearms registered in his name, dela Rosa has turned in only 26 units, leaving 91 weapons unaccounted for. The PNP said it is continuing coordination with dela Rosa's legal representatives to complete the surrender process. The revocation of his gun licenses marked a significant development in the case against the former police chief. Authorities have not provided a specific timeline for when the remaining firearms must be surrendered.
