MANILA — The Philippine National Police–Forensic Group (PNP–FG) has opened its newly modernized morgue facility, aiming to strengthen forensic testing and training capabilities across the force. The inauguration took place Tuesday at Camp Crame during a ceremony led by Forensic Group director Brigadier General Pierre Paul Carpio and Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Marc Innes-Brown.
The upgrade reflects efforts to enhance the PNP's investigative infrastructure and professional standards in forensic science. The modernized facility is expected to support improved training programs for forensic personnel and strengthen the quality of investigations conducted by the police force.
The involvement of the Australian ambassador in the inauguration ceremony underscores international collaboration in law enforcement capacity-building.
