Police arrest four drug suspects, seize P3.1M in crystal meth

LUCENA CITY — Police conducted separate drug enforcement operations across Batangas, Quezon, and Laguna provinces on September 4 and 5, resulting in the arrest of four individuals suspected of large-scale narcotics trafficking. The coordinated buy-bust operations, reported by the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A), resulted in the confiscation of crystal methamphetamine valued at more than P3.1 million.
The operations targeted high-value drug traffickers operating across the densely populated region south of Metro Manila. Each arrest was executed following undercover transactions designed to apprehend major players in the local drug supply chain.
The Police Regional Office 4A released details of the operations Saturday, confirming the arrests and seizures. The suspects remain under police custody pending filing of formal charges. Officials have not disclosed the identities of the arrested individuals or specific operational details at this stage of the investigation.
The operations are part of ongoing law enforcement efforts to combat illegal drug trafficking in the CALABARZON region, which encompasses Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, and Rizal provinces.
