Police arrest gunsmith in major Pangasinan drug operation
A 59-year-old gunsmith classified as a high-value drug suspect has been arrested in Pangasinan following a search warrant operation. Police seized approximately 36 grams of suspected methamphetamine valued at over P245,000.

CALASIAO, Pangasinan — Law enforcement authorities arrested a 59-year-old gunsmith during a drug enforcement operation in this Pangasinan municipality on Wednesday. The suspect, identified as a high-value individual in police narcotics operations, was taken into custody following the execution of Search Warrant No. U-2026-032.
Police seized 36.10 grams of suspected methamphetamine, commonly known as shabu, with an estimated street value of P245,480 during the operation. The contraband was recovered from the suspect's residence during the search.
The arrest marks another significant drug enforcement action in the region as police continue intensified operations against illegal narcotics trafficking. Investigators are conducting further inquiries to determine the suspect's involvement in larger drug distribution networks. The case has been forwarded to appropriate prosecution authorities for appropriate legal proceedings.
