Police arrest man, seize crystal meth worth P224,400 in Pangasinan

CALASIAO, Pangasinan — Police seized an estimated P224,400 worth of crystal methamphetamine and arrested one man during a search warrant operation conducted Saturday in Bolinao municipality.

The suspect, identified as a single and unemployed resident of Bolinao, was taken into custody following the operation. According to law enforcement officials, the individual had been included on the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency's Regional Watch List for suspected involvement in illegal drug trafficking in Pangasinan.

The 33 grams of suspected shabu recovered during the raid will undergo laboratory testing to confirm its composition and purity. The arrest marks another significant drug interdiction effort in the region as authorities continue operations against the narcotics trade.

The suspect is currently in police custody pending investigation and the filing of appropriate charges related to possession and distribution of controlled substances.
