Police have arrested a man in connection with a series of thefts that spanned multiple states in South India. The accused, a native of Bengaluru North in Karnataka, was apprehended based on investigations into theft cases registered across the region.

According to police officials, the arrested individual currently resides in Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad. The suspect is believed to be responsible for numerous theft incidents reported in Karnataka and Telangana, as well as various locations across Andhra Pradesh.

During the arrest, law enforcement recovered stolen valuables estimated to be worth ₹1.36 crore. Authorities have registered formal cases against the accused in both Karnataka and Telangana, with additional cases being filed from various locations in Andhra Pradesh.

The multi-state investigation revealed an organized pattern of criminal activity. Police said further questioning of the accused is underway to establish connections to additional theft cases and to identify potential accomplices involved in the criminal operations.
