LUCENA CITY — Police conducted a controlled buy-bust operation in Bacoor, Cavite City on Wednesday morning that resulted in the arrest of two drug suspects, according to the Cavite Police Provincial Office.
The operation yielded significant contraband, including crystal methamphetamine valued at approximately 68,000 pesos and an unlicensed firearm. The suspects were identified as "Chard" and another individual whose details were not immediately disclosed.
The arrested individuals are expected to face charges related to illegal drug trafficking and unlicensed firearm possession. The operation reflects ongoing enforcement efforts by provincial police to combat drug-related crimes in the Cavite region.
This latest operation follows a similar buy-bust in Imus City that resulted in the seizure of larger quantities of methamphetamine. Authorities continue to intensify anti-drug campaigns across the province.
