LEGAZPI CITY — Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio officially assumed command of the Bicol Police Regional Office on Thursday during a change-of-command ceremony at Camp Gen. Simeon A. Ola here.
Silvio succeeds Brig. Gen. Erosito Miranda, who retired following more than 30 years of service in the Philippine National Police. The leadership transition was presided over by Police Lt. Gen. Wilson Joseph Lopez, the PNP deputy chief for operations.
The change of command marks a significant transition in the regional police hierarchy as Silvio takes the helm of law enforcement operations across the Bicol region. His appointment comes as the police organization continues its efforts to maintain security and public order in the area.
