Police bust teenager with P4.9M marijuana haul in Pangasinan
Authorities in Pangasinan arrested an 18-year-old suspect during a Friday buy-bust operation, seizing an estimated P4.9 million worth of suspected marijuana products. The unemployed suspect from La Union was apprehended in Urdaneta City with additional contraband.

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Police arrested an 18-year-old suspect and confiscated approximately P4.9 million in suspected marijuana products during a controlled buy-bust operation in Urdaneta City on Friday.
The suspect, identified as a resident of Bacnotan, La Union who was temporarily staying in Urdaneta City, was taken into custody following the operation conducted by local law enforcement. The arrested individual is reported to be unemployed.
Beyond the marijuana seizure, authorities also recovered an unregistered firearm from the suspect during the arrest, according to police reports.
The suspect is currently in police custody pending investigation and the filing of appropriate charges in connection with illegal drug possession and the unlicensed firearm.
