Police in Bijnor district have turned to Mary, a decorated sniffer dog from Sambhal, to help unravel the mysterious deaths of Deshraj and Sushma, a married couple whose bodies were discovered in separate locations near the Ganges River.
Deshraj's body was found hanging from a tree in a field, while his wife Sushma's corpse was discovered approximately 1.5 kilometres away, bound to a tree and submerged in the river. Both bodies were found partially clothed, with their garments missing—a detail that has prompted investigators to scrutinize the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
Postmortem examinations revealed that Deshraj died by hanging, while Sushma succumbed to asphyxiation. The separation of the bodies, the missing clothing, and the unusual nature of both deaths have led authorities to seek additional investigative resources. Mary, known for her investigative prowess and previous high-profile case successes, has been enlisted to help trace events at the scene and potentially identify new leads in the inquiry.
