COTABATO CITY — Law enforcement officials in Sultan Kudarat have identified three persons who appeared in a viral video depicting the handling of what authorities described as an alleged firearm, the Philippine National Police reported Tuesday.
The video in question was originally recorded on July 11, 2026, during a birthday celebration in Barangay Villamor, Esperanza municipality, according to police records. The footage remained largely unknown until it began circulating across social media platforms more than two months after it was shot.
Police authorities did not immediately disclose the identities of the three individuals or provide details regarding the type of firearm allegedly shown in the video.
