SUNGAI PETANI — Police have launched an investigation into an alleged armed robbery in which a young man reported losing RM30,000 in company funds near the Sungai Petani courthouse.

The 22-year-old victim lodged a report with local police, alleging that he was accosted by four men wielding a folding knife during the incident. According to the complaint, the suspects made off with the cash, which was being transported on behalf of his employer.
