Police nab drug suspect in Palawan, seize crystal meth worth P36,000
Law enforcement officers arrested a 55-year-old man during an anti-narcotics operation in Palawan on Saturday, confiscating crystal methamphetamine valued at over P35,900.

Police Regional Office Mimaropa conducted the operation in Linapacan, Palawan, on September 26, apprehending the suspect at approximately 10 a.m. Officers recovered 5.28 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, locally known as "shabu," with an estimated street value of P35,904.
The arrest marked another effort by regional police to combat illegal drug trafficking in the Mimaropa jurisdiction, which covers Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan. The suspect is currently in police custody pending further investigation and the filing of appropriate charges.
Authorities did not immediately disclose additional details regarding the operation or the suspect's background. The confiscated drugs have been turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for laboratory analysis and proper documentation.
