Law enforcement agencies in Cagayan de Oro City have arrested a high-value drug suspect and seized suspected shabu valued at P6.8 million following a controlled buy-bust operation conducted late Saturday afternoon in Barangay Indahag.
The operation was jointly led by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 10 (RPDEU-10) working in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). Officers recovered approximately one kilogram of the illegal substance during the arrest, marking a significant seizure in the city's ongoing anti-narcotics efforts.
The suspect was immediately taken into custody for further investigation and documentation. Authorities are conducting additional inquiries to determine possible links to larger drug distribution networks operating in the region.
