Police nab Makati's fourth most wanted fugitive in Puerto Princesa

A 22-year-old Puerto Princesa resident wanted for robbery with homicide has been arrested following a manhunt operation in the city. The suspect was apprehended in Barangay Model on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

Police have arrested a fugitive wanted in connection with a robbery with homicide case after tracking him to Puerto Princesa City on Wednesday afternoon. The 22-year-old suspect, listed as Makati City's fourth most wanted criminal, was taken into custody during a targeted manhunt operation in Barangay Model.

Authorities acted on the basis of a warrant issued on June 11, 2024, by Makati City courts. The suspect, who had been residing in Puerto Princesa, was located and apprehended without incident during the operation.

The arrest marks another success in regional law enforcement efforts to track down wanted suspects across the southern Philippines. Police said the accused will be transferred to Makati authorities to face charges related to the robbery with homicide case.
