Police nab three drug suspects, seize P120,000 shabu in Caraga ops

SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur — Police Regional Office 13 (PRO-13) conducted coordinated drug enforcement operations across the Caraga region on Friday, resulting in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of contraband including crystal methamphetamine valued at approximately P120,000.

Brig. Gen. Rolindo M. Suguilon, PRO-13 director, reported that the separate entrapment operations were executed as part of the police's intensified campaign against illegal drug trafficking in Mindanao. The operations yielded not only the narcotics but also an unlicensed firearm recovered from one of the suspects.

The arrested individuals are currently being held for investigation and will face appropriate criminal charges related to illegal drug possession and the unlicensed firearm. Police said further charges may be filed pending the completion of case documentation and laboratory confirmations.

The PRO-13 said the operations underscore the region's commitment to dismantling drug supply networks and reducing narcotics-related criminal activity. Additional details regarding the specific locations of the arrests and the identities of the suspects were not immediately disclosed pending further investigation.
