Police nab three drug suspects, seize P15.3M shabu in Butuan raid
Three alleged high-value drug personalities have been arrested and more than P15.3 million worth of suspected methamphetamine seized in a coordinated buy-bust operation in Butuan City. The operation, conducted early Saturday, marks a significant blow to drug trafficking networks in the Caraga region.

The three suspects were taken into custody during the operation in Butuan City, according to Brig. Gen. Rolindo Suguilon, director of the Police Regional Office-Caraga (PRO 13). Authorities identified one suspect by the alias "Berto," 48, from Barangay San Francisco in Agusan del Sur, as a key target of the investigation.
The operation resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value exceeding P15.3 million. The confiscated drugs have been turned over to appropriate authorities for documentation and disposition in accordance with legal procedures.
PRO 13 classified the arrested individuals as high-value drug personalities, indicating they occupied significant positions within drug distribution networks operating in the Caraga region. The coordinated operation reflects ongoing law enforcement efforts to dismantle organized drug trafficking activities in Mindanao.
The suspects are currently in police custody pending the filing of appropriate charges. Authorities continue investigations to determine the extent of the suspects' involvement in the regional drug trade and identify their associates and supply sources.
