MABALACAT CITY — Police operatives arrested two individuals suspected of drug trafficking following a controlled buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau on Friday evening. The Pampanga police announced that the operation, conducted at Purok Balaba Phase 2 at 9:43 p.m., resulted in the seizure of crystal methamphetamine (shabu) with an estimated value of P374,000 and one firearm.
The suspects were apprehended after they allegedly sold narcotics to an undercover police officer during the sting operation. Law enforcement personnel secured the drugs and weapon as evidence for further investigation and criminal proceedings.
The arrests add to recent anti-drug operations being conducted across Pampanga province as authorities intensify their crackdown on illegal drug trafficking. The two suspects face charges related to the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, pending further legal proceedings.
