Corporal Nik Mohd Farid Nik Pa was left with serious injuries after being attacked by two Myanmar nationals who were allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The assault resulted in fractures to the officer's nasal bone, left cheekbone near the eye socket, and the orbital bone beneath his left eye.
The officer also sustained extensive bruising and bleeding around the left eye area as a result of the attack. The incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding public safety and assaults on law enforcement personnel in the region.
