KUALA LUMPUR — The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has assured the public of its commitment to conducting transparent investigations into matters involving Tabung Haji, the national pilgrimage savings fund. In a statement, the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) emphasised that all inquiry proceedings would be carried out with full accountability and in accordance with established legal procedures.

The police urged members of the public to exercise restraint and refrain from circulating unverified information or rumours regarding ongoing investigations. Authorities warned that spreading speculative claims could potentially hinder investigative efforts and mislead the public.

The assurance comes amid heightened public interest in Tabung Haji's operations and governance. The PDRM underscored the importance of allowing the investigation process to proceed without interference from external speculation, stressing that conclusions would only be drawn once all evidence had been thoroughly examined.

Members of the public with relevant information are encouraged to come forward through official channels. The PDRM reiterated that it remains committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that any breaches of regulations are properly addressed through the appropriate legal framework.
