Police in Mumbai have launched a focused investigation into Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, both allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in connection with the attempted shooting of actor Tiger Shroff. The incident occurred Sunday evening when three motorcycle-borne assailants discharged firearms at Shroff in the Juhu area of western Mumbai.
Shroff was unharmed in the attack, but three other individuals sustained injuries during the incident. The targeting of the prominent actor has heightened security concerns in the entertainment district and prompted law enforcement to accelerate their probe into the suspected gang members.
The Lawrence Bishnoi organization has been implicated in multiple high-profile incidents across India in recent months. Investigators are examining possible motives and connections between the identified suspects and the attack, as well as determining whether the incident was part of a broader criminal operation.
Mumbai police have increased surveillance and initiated preventive measures in areas frequented by film industry personnel. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to apprehend additional suspects and uncover details surrounding the planning and execution of the assault.
