Police record statements from 12 JPJ officers in MyEG, Zetrix probe

Police have recorded statements from 12 Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers as part of an ongoing investigation into MyEG Services Sdn Bhd and Zetrix, according to the director of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department at Bukit Aman.

Rusdi Isa said the interviews form part of efforts to establish the full scope of the matter under investigation. He added that three banking officials have also been questioned to support the probe.

The investigation appears to focus on the operations and dealings between the JPJ and the private sector companies involved in vehicle registration and licensing services. The involvement of banking officials suggests the inquiry may also examine financial transactions or fund flows related to the matter.

Details regarding the specific nature of the allegations or findings have not been disclosed. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities continuing to gather information from relevant parties across multiple sectors.
