Police in San Antonio, Zambales conducted three operations on Saturday that resulted in the confiscation of seven firearms, one hand grenade, various ammunition, and suspected controlled substances, according to law enforcement reports.
Two search warrant operations in the town yielded six firearms, a hand grenade, and assorted ammunition from individuals identified through police intelligence work as persons of interest. The third operation resulted in additional contraband seizures.
Authorities did not immediately provide details on the suspected illegal drugs recovered or specifications regarding the firearms and explosive device. The operations were conducted as part of ongoing police efforts to combat illegal weapons and drug trafficking in the province.
